WEBQUEST

1. Title: Fighting Bullying


2. Introduction:
Bullying is a big problem that affects lots of kids. Three-quarters of all kids say they have been bullied or teased. Being bullied can make kids feel really bad. Bullying can make kids not want to play outside or go to school. Bullying can make school a place of fear and can lead to more violence and more stress for everyone. You are counsellors and you want to fight bullying in your school.

3. The task:In order to prevent bullying in your school you are going to design attractive and useful triptychs. You have to include relevant information in the triptychs to inform students and help them. The counselling department will choose the best triptych to photocopy and hand it out in different classrooms.

4. Process:● Roles:
- You have to work in groups of 3 counsellors.
- Each of you has to look for some specific information about bullying.
- All the counsellors collaborate in the design of the triptych.
● Steps:
- In the Counselling Department:1. Choose the counselling groups.
2. Think about the information that you could include in your triptych.
- In the computer room:4. Search different websites to obtain some information that you can include in your triptych. You can use these ideas:

  • A brief definition.
  • Bullies and victims of bullying.
  • Forms of bullying.
  • Solutions to bullying.
- Back in the Counselling Department:
6. Use the information gathered to prepare a triptych. Try to be original. Remember that you will participate in a competition to choose the best one.
7. Present your triptych to the rest of counsellors in the department.
8. Vote and choose the best triptych to photocopy it and hand it out.
